Stay in the same wildlife area for another day, allowing more time to explore without changing regions. Explore central Serengeti on game drives, following the guide’s assessment of recent sightings. Watch wildlife around the grasslands, river areas and rocky kopjes where the route allows. A full day gives time for a picnic lunch in the park; on a transfer day, game viewing fits around the road journey and park entry.
Overnight: Central Serengeti camp / lodge
Ngorongoro Crater
Leave the previous overnight area and travel toward Ngorongoro Crater. Transfer time forms part of today’s schedule. Travel to the crater and descend for a game drive on the crater floor. Explore the available wildlife-viewing areas with your guide and stop for a picnic lunch. After the visit, ascend to the rim and continue to the next overnight stop or return toward Arusha, as shown in your confirmed schedule. Continue toward Arusha after the planned visit. An overnight hotel or onward airport transfer is added only if agreed in your quotation.
