This specific Africa safari and travel itinerary have been designed for visitors with more time on hand for longer safari or travel tours. It specifically includes the Serengeti National park, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Park and has been designed to offer you a total Tanzanian northern circuit safari experience, while keeping your non-game-viewing travel time to a minimum.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After a short briefing in the morning, you will be taken to the Tarangire National Park. The park with its endless tree savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes, is also home to the largest elephant herds in Northern Tanzania.
In addition to elephants you are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Upon arrival at the park, your guide will open the roof of the vehicle and the extensive wildlife viewing will begin. Lunch will be taken at a picnic spot and in the afternoon you will get to see more of this amazing and beautiful park. In the late afternoon you will arrive Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life.
ManyaraNational Park has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge for 2 nights.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Full day Serengeti National Park game drive including following the wildebeest migration aftet the game overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge
Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro
After breakfast at daybreak, you will start early on your outward journey from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, leaving behind the beautiful Seronera Valley. As predators are livelier in the cooler hours of the day, you might even see them in action.
Early morning game drive and after depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Dr. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Back to Arusha/ Moshi
After an early breakfast, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater.
A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha Town/ Moshi.
